Napa Man Reports Unusual Ways People
Are Earning Money to Worldwide Audience

NAPA, CA – Despite the continuing slow economic news, some people aren't too
concerned. That's because they've come up with unique ways to earn
money…sometimes a lot of money, even in a down economy, according to  Ron Ruiz.

Ruiz researches these business ideas and reports them to his online subscribers
in over 23 countries on his private membership website at BusinessFastlane.com.
“I'm like an investigative reporter, but instead of digging up "dirt" I go
looking for "success." I find people worldwide who are quietly earning a few
extra hundred dollars a month to small fortunes in ways most people would never
think of. says,  Ruiz.  "Many of these ideas can be duplicated and can spark
ideas for others businesses. It's the American dream to be self-employed: no
boss to answer to, no office politics, and the freedom to earn as much money or
take as much time off as you want. Through my research, I find real people just
like them who are living the dream and report the unusual ways and methods they
use to do it."  His website contains over 225 case studies of people of all
ages, from the 12 yr old earning $60,000/yr selling her own line of stationary
to the 76 year old women who has sold over 200,000 copies of her self published
book on curing arthritis.  He adds more on a weekly basis.

Ruiz has always been interested in business success stories and it's paid off
for him. About 15 years ago he found a success story about a person who was
earning money taking aerial photos. A pilot himself, Ruiz took the idea and
started his own Napa Valley aerial photography business, called Quality Aerial
Photography. Reading that one success story gave him the idea for a business he
still enjoys doing today part time.

Two years ago Ruiz heard about another man who had retired after successfully
reporting unique money making ideas in a print newsletter for over 50 years.
That gave him the idea to first start his own print newsletter called The
Business Fastlane, on the same theme. This evolved into businessfastlane.com a
subscription website that charges for access to his research of success stories,
business ideas and other information. The website has added a new dimension by
giving his subscribers access to his case studies and success stories 24/7 from
anywhere in the world.  It's been profitable from the first day it went online.

"The idea of paying for information on website is still fairly new, but just a
few short years ago it was almost totally unknown", says Ruiz. "Everyone thought
the way to Internet success was to raise huge amounts of venture capital, give
away trainloads of free information and sell advertising. We all know what
happened to all of those dot com businesses, they went bust."

Today along with giants like Consumer Reports and the Wall Street Journal who
bring in millions of dollars annually by charging access to their websites, Ruiz
has uncovered individuals selling "inside information" with subscription
websites of all sizes.  The topics of these websites are as diverse as dating
and Ford Thunderbird cars, to prewritten sermons and tall women fashions. The
one thing they have in common is a small but devoted core of subscribers who are
willing to pay from $39/year to $20,000 for information that is hard to find or
too specialized to find anywhere else. According to Ruiz, membership websites
can be surprisingly lucrative with only a small but loyal base of subscribers. A
website with only 300 subscribers can generate $5,000/month for the owner.

Today Ruiz's paid "membership site" is running smoothly, but that wasn't always
the case. In the beginning he struggled to find the right software that would
automate many of the tasks in running this type of website. After a year he
almost quit, but then developed his own software that he says reduces the
workload of starting and maintaining a membership website by about 80%. He is
about ready to begin selling his software to others who want to start their own
subscription websites.

"This in one of the best times in history to start a business, says Ruiz. With
the Internet and the right software you can create an international business
right from your own bedroom."

As for finding the right idea for your business,  Ruiz's advice is simple. “You
don't need to reinvent the wheel or come up a with a totally unique idea.   Just
do what I do… learn what other successful people are doing, then don't copy
them, but model and adapt their ideas and give them your own twist."
